Our Trustees
The role of the Trustees is to ensure that Tamar House meets the needs of our residents in a way that is expected by people today and the home remains fully compliant with the standards laid down by the Abbeyfield Society and the Care Quality Commission.
None of this would be possible without ensuring financial stability. To this end, we perform regular inspections and meet 4 times a year with the Care Manager and Administrative Officer, which forms our Executive Committee. Reports from the various members are received and ongoing management and policy topics discussed. Each Trustee has specific areas of responsibility. These include financial management, health and safety, marketing, estate management, resident liaison, human resources, legal matters, and quality standards.
Our Trustees often spend time with our residents.
